Dear Local Food Supporters,

Thank you so much for joining Kitchen Table Advisors on Sunday at Penrose. The event was a huge success thanks to all of you - for being interested in supporting local farmers, for bringing your friends and family, and for enlisting yourselves in a myriad of ways to support farmers like Shawn. We are humbled and encouraged to see so many new faces expressing their interest in supporting sustainable farms.

Shawn shared two realities facing him as a farmer and entrepreneur: the seemingly insurmountable challenges he experiences trying to make it work, and on the flip side, the value and importance of a supportive community that helps him stay motivated.  His story is incredibly heartening and poignant.

Because of realities such as these, farmers like Shawn decide to move on from farming everyday.

Kitchen Table Advisors is creating a future where more young farmers can see a pathway towards a long-term career in sustainable agriculture.
On Sunday, Anthony outlined a number of different roles you can play in helping our clients. Each one of you can make a huge impact on the economic viability of the next generation of sustainable small farms in the Bay Area. We are excited to work more closely with each of you to provide our local producers with exactly the kind of support they need to become viable businesses.
Share your time and talents to help build the capacity of our small organization - or to directly assist our clients.  Fill out our volunteer interest form HERE.
