Hello, Kitchen Cabinet! It is a pleasure to introduce the talented and diverse group of individuals who form our new advisory board, helping guide the organization in a thoughtful and strategic way. This year, our Cabinet members are focused on the following areas to help us prepare for our program launch this winter: organizational development, program impact, diversity, fundraising, and membership.
As a Full Circle Fund 2014 grantee, we partnered with them to reshape and reimagine our advisory board in order to increase our long-term sustainability and resiliency. The Full Circle Fund members conducted dozens of stakeholder interviews and helped us think strategically about where we’re going and the type of leaders we need to help us get there. The Kitchen Cabinet is version 2.0 of our founding Leadership Council, a cohesive and focused group that will help us move the dial on organizational growth.
At our recent cabinet meeting, we discovered that a competitive fire runs deep in all of our members when we kicked off our meeting with a photo scavenger hunt. The prize for the winners was a host of goodies from one of our clients, Fogline Farm, including some of Caleb’s fantastic bacon, so folks were highly motivated to win! Keep an eye out on the blog for profiles of each of our fabulous Cabinet members. In the meantime, here are some of the photos the team took on our photo scavenger hunt earlier this month.
Do you know someone who could help to round out our Kitchen Cabinet? We are in need of input from seasoned farmers, experts in employee-led philanthropy, and individuals working in B Corps or tech. Interest in sustainable food a must; competitive approach to winning farm-fresh goodies optional but highly desired. Let us know!
