Growing up on a vineyard in the Salinas Valley, Wendy's connection to agriculture and farmworker communities was rooted in the lived experiences of her Mexican immigrant parents. Those early experiences inspired a lasting commitment to advancing equity and economic resilience within food and farming systems.

Wendy's professional journey includes fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders at Hartnell College, implementing social responsibility initiatives across the U.S. and Mexico for Driscoll's, and supporting funder programming and strengthening data systems for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Funders.

Since joining Kitchen Table Advisors in 2021, Wendy's work has centered on building programmatic connectivity across regional teams and delivering operational systems to support KTA's mission. In May 2026, Wendy stepped into the role of Director of Impact and Learning, excited to shape the systems and strategies that will guide Kitchen Table Advisors toward its next chapter - ensuring that data, learning, and client experience remain at the heart of the work.
