Associate Regional Program Director, KTA Central
Central Coast | San Joaquin Valley | San Mateo Coast | South Bay

Tania Zuñiga Moreno is the Associate Regional Program Director for the Central Coast Region at Kitchen Table Advisors. She has spent most of her professional career directly supporting small-scale, sustainable farmers and ranchers in California’s Central Coast and in Peru.

With a strong background in agronomy and business management, and formal training in social project management, Tania works closely with farmers to adopt regenerative agricultural practices, strengthen sustainable business models, access financial resources, and connect with technical assistance through strategic partnerships.

Beyond one-on-one advising, Tania has facilitated and managed several ecosystem-building initiatives designed to strengthen farmer power, leadership, and governance across the food system. These include a Farmers Market Incubator Program with the Agricultural Institute of Marin (AIM) and the Fondo Solidario, a revolving loan fund governed and managed by Latina farmers.

Tania was first introduced to small-scale organic and regenerative agriculture through internships across North and South America, including at ALBA in the Salinas Valley and in Pennsylvania, Cuba, Chile, and Peru. She later managed a medium-scale plant nursery and worked as a project manager, experiences that ultimately led her to KTA. Prior to joining Kitchen Table Advisors, Tania worked with nonprofit organizations and at the Lima Mayor’s Office supporting social development programs.
